Deaf Couple Homeless Due to Fire A Deaf couple, Vicky Moraza and Jeff Lesniak were made homeless on Saturday, March 26, after an apartment fire destroyed their 4-unit apartment complex and all their possessions. According to KCOY TV 12 the fire started around 4:30 pm on Saturday. Fire crews arrived four minutes after they received the call and found the unoccupied building engulfed in flames. The San Luis Obispo Fire Department reported that it took 40 minutes to control the fire. The families affected by the fire have been helped by the Red Cross and the Agape Church is taking up a collection to help.
